The committee plans collaborative meetings and external seminars, and makes strategic decisions on directions and expenditures. It is the role of the science committee as a whole to handle the smooth running of the collaborative internally, while it is the role of the ACME director to interface externally (public, administration, etc) as the advocate for the collaborative.

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board consists of industry, university, and community representatives who assist ACME in accomplishing its mission as an accelerator of materials research at UA. The board provides strategic planning, identifies constituencies who can contribute to the mission, assists in fundraising campaigns where appropriate, and advocates for ACME both internally and externally.  They bring crucial perspectives and wisdom from their representative sectors for long-term success.
